Coastal Pediatric Dentistry is committed to providing our patients with the best possible care in a comfortable and safe environment. We want our practice to be a place that kids and families look forward to visiting. Dr. Bailey's experience in dentistry is coupled with genuine concern for her patients. All of our staff is dedicated to providing a fun, safe, and compassionate environment. Here we treat every child as we would our own.
We offer a full range of pediatric dentistry services including preventative care, restorative care, special needs dentistry, and pediatric sedation dentistry.
About the Doctor
Meet Dr. Bailey
Dr. Bailey is a board-eligible pediatric dentist and a North Carolina native. She completed her undergraduate studies at NC State University, where she was a diver on the varsity team for four years — all while graduating with a degree in Materials Science and Engineering. The discipline, energy, and team spirit she built in the pool are the same qualities she now brings into the dental chair every day.
After earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Bailey completed her pediatric dental residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania, where she served as Chief Resident and gained extensive experience in preventive, minimally invasive, and restorative care for kids of all ages. Along the way, she's always made it a priority to care for children who need it most, dedicating hundreds of volunteer hours to community dental clinics and health fairs for underserved and special-needs populations.
Dr. Bailey believes that a trip to the dentist should feel safe, fun, and even a little exciting. Whether she's walking a nervous first-timer through their very first cleaning or guiding a family through more involved treatment, her goal is always the same: to help kids feel confident, comfortable, and proud of their smiles.
Outside the office, Dr. Bailey is settling into life in New Bern with her husband, Zack, and their baby girl, Blake - who already has personality twice her size. She loves spending time with her family, reading, crafting, doing yoga, and all things Disney. She is thrilled to be putting down roots in the coastal community and can't wait to be part of your child's dental journey for years to come.

New Patients
Who do we serve
We are proud to serve the children of Craven County and surrounding areas. AAPD guidelines recommend a child have their first dental visit within 6 months of their first tooth coming in and no later than their first birthday. At our office, we see children from birth to about 12 years old, when most children lose all their primary teeth.

We are accepting all insurance plans for filing in office. Don't let your out of network status discourage you. We believe that your child's insurance plan should never be a barrier to dental treatment. Please just give us a call if you have any questions. Our office also has financing options available.
We offer a 5% discount for our active duty military families
What to Expect
Your child's first visit
Your child's first visit to Coastal Pediatric Dentistry is designed to be a positive, engaging experience. We will start with a friendly tour of our office, introducing your child to our dental team in our fun coastal-inspired environment. Our wonderful team will provide age-appropriate dental imaging, oral health education, and a dental cleaning. Dr. Bailey will perform a gentle examination, assess your child's oral health, and discuss any findings with you. This is a safe and judgement-free environment. We encourage parents to ask questions and be involved in their child's oral health journey.
What to Bring
Come prepared & comfortable
Please bring your child's dental insurance information, medical history, and any questions you may have. If your child has a lovey or comfort item, feel free to bring it along with them so they can feel safe and at home.
Please try to fill out all new patient information prior to the first visit if possible. All new patient packets are sent out ahead of time, so that you can fill them out on your own time.
